Hamaki Ho | OOTD

Hamaki Ho Jacket | Topman New York Print Jumper | Topman Skinny Indigo Jeans | Airwalk Shoes | Ben Sherman Watch

I've got to say, I've been desperate to blog about this jacket ever since I got it haha. I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted it on the clearance rack (it must've been fate) in TK Maxx. A mere £22, this went straight into the trolley.

Because of the colour, I wanted to keep the outfit fairly calm and neutral (that means no purple skinny jeans sadly). Unsure of what to wear underneath the jacket, I decided to work my way up. For the shoes, I wanted to wear these Airwalks because although they're not my typical style of shoe (boots all the way), these are by far the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. Then (in order to keep a consistent style throughout), the shoes helped me decide on this thin, New York print jumper from Topman. Although oversized, I got it anyway because it's just so beautiful. And as always, I'm wearing my Topman skinny indigo jeans and Ben Sherman watch.

Happy Easter everyone! I'm back at school on Tuesday and dreading it (exams ever nearing) but I'm trying to enjoy my last two days off before going back - hope your enjoying your weekend :)

Casually Formal | OOTD

Here I'm wearing:

ARK Clothing Snood | Sainsbury's Casual Blazer | Clothes Show Live Bought Graphic T-Shirt | Topman Skinny Jeans | Blackman's Boots | The Cambridge Satchel Company 15" Batchel |

Last week on Friday, whilst on a much needed half-term break from school, my friends and I decided to catch a train to Manchester and go shopping for the day. When I was planning my outfit, I decided that I really wanted to wear my casual blazer. Casual blazers are my fashion favourite and I'd wear them all the time if I could afford to (they're priced at around £70 each on the high street), although I never wore mine outside of evening meals out due to my worry that someone will judge me for it. Happily though, I kept to my plan and wore it, and I couldn't be happier with the end look! :)

I'm also really pleased with the photos for this post. With my Dad as official Stylish England photographer, he suggested this new background, as well as trying out some portrait shots. After adjusting the sizing of my blog as well as resizing my pictures, the finished result is exactly what I wanted!

Unlike a lot of the time, I wore this because I actually wanted to wear it. Usually I'll just settle with something simple and boring but everything about this outfit is me which I love :) It expresses my style perfectly; The blazer helps any outfit to look more tailored and organised as does the satchel (although more organised than tailored). The graphic print t-shirt gives the outfit a street-style kind of look to it and the boots and snood, as well as keeping me warm, bring the whole outfit together because of their matching burgundy colour.

I did buy a few things (fashion + interior/home stuff) so watch this space for a haul coming very soon!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you ever worry about what you wear?

Productively Comfy | OOTD

River Island Cardigan | Burton Graphic Tee | Topman Skinny Jeans | Ben Sherman Watch | Fossil Wallet | Sainsbury's Slippers

Finally spotting a break in the bad weather, I quickly equipped my Dad with the camera and dashed outside to take an OOTD. Today (like the past three days - half-term holiday!), is most definitely one of those lazy days. Spending most of my day on the sofa, writing blog posts or reading I Heart Paris, this is my chosen outfit for todays activities. A Ben Sherman watch and Fossil wallet work together with these Topman skinny jeans accompanied with a Burton graphic tee (depicting New York) to create both a laid back and well organised look. I added the River Island cardigan purely just to keep myself warm, but with the middle button being the only one in use to create an even more casual look. And as for shoes, what else can you wear on a lazy day than comfy slippers?

P.S Please forgive how terrible I look in the first photo - England isn't your best friend when it comes to natural light

What's your lazy day outfit?

Instagram Outfits | 2013

Being short on some post ideas recently, I decided to reminisce and do a super quick post showing you some of the OOTD pictures I'd posted on instagram over last year. There aren't many of them purely and simply because at the moment I'm in high school where I have to wear a school uniform each day and when on those times when I do go out and socialise, there never seems to be any time or the right place to take photos of my outfit (s). Oh well, hopefully that should all change come September when I fingers crossed start college! We don't have uniform there! :D

If you wanna' check out my Instagram, just click HERE :) I'd love it if you'd follow me!

Which is your favourite outfit?

Christmas Meal OOTD

Merry Chrimbo!

I hope you all had a great day yesterday, and that you all got what you were hoping for :-)

First of all, apologies for not posting on here for over a week- I know it doesn't seem like long, but usually I would've posted once, if not twice in that time. When the Christmas break first started, I got really stressed and a bit upset over GCSE's and college interviews etc. so I decided to just relax and do nothing until Christmas. Now that the big day has been and gone, I'm back to my usual blogging habits (fingers crossed!).

It's a long story but we've ended up having Christmas dinner on boxing day (today) instead, so after seeing other blog posts about Christmas day/meal outfits, I thought I'd also share with you what I'm wearing!

P.S Please excuse my funny expression- I've got to get better at OOTD's!

Lookin' Hipster

With the day that I go to the Clothes Show Live fast approaching (I wrote this a few weeks back), I've finally given the outfit that I plan on wearing a bit of thought.

This is my first time going to the Clothes Show Live and I'm beyond excited! It's a fantastic opportunity to gain some insight into the fashion and beauty industry, as well as a chance to have a great time with friends. With the stresses of exams + coursework, a bit of retail therapy is more than welcome right now.

Not long ago, I was mortified to discover that I had been walking around Sainsbury's with an enormous rip in my dark skinny jeans. Afterwards, I spent copious amounts of time browsing many a shop until finally Topman came to the rescue. Like always, their sale was full of gorgeous pieces, and I finally decided on a similar pair of dark skinny jeans (as a replacement for the old ones), as well as these eye-catching grape/wine red/purple coloured spray on skinny jeans.

When it came to ordering them a couple of days later, I was disheartened to discover that the replacement pair of dark skinny jeans were out of stock. Although, another similar pair were chosen at the last moment and all that was left to do was wait. When they did arrive, these purple ones fitted perfectly. By that I mean that these literally mould to your leg. Boy their tight! The other black pair of jeans were excruciatingly skinny and after spending a good chunk of time doing my best to force them on, they were placed back in the delivery bag and put near the door ready for returning to our local Topman store (sad face).
