Cholmondeley Castle...

First of all, a whopping big apology to all of you. I haven't posted since last week because of a school work overload! With exams coming up in November, and coursework due in constantly, along with 2 (yes 2!) portfolios to create...from scratch, I haven't had a moment to even think about writing this post. In the past week I've really missed blogging so I'm thrilled to be at the keyboard again! Ooh! I also want to say thank you to those of you who nominated me for both the versatile blogger award, and the sunshine award! I'll have those posts up soon ;)

Also, I wanted to say a HUGE thank you so everyone who reads my blog! Recently Stylish England reached over 10,000 pageviews! I know that lots of bloggers write this, but to know that any number of people enjoy what I write means an incredible amount to me :)

Last Sunday my family and I had a trip to Cholmondeley Castle. My parents said we'd been there before but I was very small and can't remember. At first it was a bit rainy and grey etc. and my brother especially took on that bad weather attitude, do you know what I mean? Where we just get really miserable and want to go home, have a hot drink and wrap up warm ;) Luckily though, the weather soon brightened up. When we first drove in, my Dad parked the car on the side of the longest driveway I had ever seen, and we spent the first 10-15 minutes looking for Conkers. I don't know why, but I've always been fascinated by conkers haha. We struck lucky this time! As after returning to the car with a bag for life filled with conkers, we finally set off for the castle!

We didn't actually go in the castle as we were more interested in going around the gardens, but the walk (with some time spent in an extremely British tea room) (I'm loving the italic font today!) lasted for a few hours overall. Apologies for some of the photos quality. As soon as I wanted to take photos, the cameras battery was dead! In the end I took them all on my Iphone 5 so they shouldn't be necessarily bad quality haha.

I can't tell you how beautiful these gardens were. My Mum said how you could tell how much work had gone into them which was certainly true! Towards the end of the day, we were in the most stunning part of the gardens and the sunrise lit up the area with vibrant colour. If you ever have the chance to go to Cholmondeley Castle, I highly recommend you go. I hope you like these photos! I know there's a lot of them but I haven't done a post in a while and I thought, why not?

*In some of these photos I have used the chrome effect you get on Iphone IOS7 cameras, and in others I have used Auto Enhance to make the colours stronger and the photos more interesting*

A Walk In The Woods...

Last Saturday, my family and I drove to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens for that 'Autumn Walk' I mentioned in my Autumn Wishlist. Sadly though, there was an event taking place so the grounds weren't available to the general public. We did however (after much random driving), manage to find Bulkeley Hill Woods. All of us had a great time and I wanted to share some photos with you. These are all completely unedited as I was told this is an ancient woodland and I didn't want to spoil the pictures with fake effects. I hope you like them!

Apologies for the occasional heads in photos

I look so miserable!

What I was wearing- George Jumper | Ark Clothing Burgundy Chunky Knit Snood | Sainsbury's Double Breasted Pea Coat | Burtons Skinny Dark Jeans | Barretts Blackmans Boots | MIANSAI Anchor Bracelet | Topman Nautical Bracelet |

Please comment telling me what you thought of this post! I'd also love to hear what you guys have been doing this Autumn so far! New wardrobe? Autumn Walk? Have you got anything planned? Oh! And if you're wondering, that's my Mum in the pictures.

I hope you've liked this post! Please follow me on GFC if you did! Thank you so much for having a read ;)

Tolly Dolly Posh's- The Fashion Week Tag

Hello All!

Photo from here
I recently read Cookies And Couture's fashion week tag post and loved it! Tolly Dolly Posh created this tag herself on her own blog and I thought it would be so fun to do :D I know it seems a bit late but oh well ;)

Have you ever been to a Fashion Week before?:

Sadly not :( I'm hoping that some day I'll get that opportunity :D (fingers crossed!)

If you could go to a Fashion Week, which one would you go to, and which season?:

Definitely London ;D Everything about LFW works and I love everything about it. Saying that I'd also love to go to NYFW and PFW. Season? It would definitely have to be Autumn or A/W :D I love fashion for colder weather, coats, gloves, scarves, jackets...ahhhhh.

Photo from here

Which designer’s show would you most like to go to?:

Burberry and Mulberry. Sorry I can't say one haha :D

Mulberry shows are so creative and imaginative, they look like so much fun!

Photo from here
Burberry because I love everything in their collections (I'm not exaggerating). Also the venue and shows themselves are just incredible :)

Would you rather be FROW (Front Row) or would you rather take the back seat?:

FROW. The closer I can get to the fashion the better ;D

If you were able to work at LFW, who would you rather be - A designer, a model, the press, a VIP, or someone backstage?:

Probably a VIP. Purely because you wouldn't have to worry about getting good photos or making sure everything is running okay and on time. You just get to mingle and have fun ;D

Sometimes you can get invites to the after 'part-ays', but you are only allowed to meet one model, one designer and one VIP/celebrity, in person. Who would you like to meet?:

Model= Cara Delevingne. Cara seems like a really fun and easy to talk to person :D

Designer= Christopher Bailey. I want to know how he makes such flawless collections!

VIP/Celebrity= Tanya Burr. Tanya has been at Burberry and Mulberry LFW shows in the past couple of years so I would hope I'd get a chance to meet her :D

Photos from here, here & here

For your Fashion Week trip, you can take 5 items, for example a camera etc. What would be your essentials?:

Camera- Absolute must. For taking pictures of all the amazing collections (and for possible FROW selfies ;D)

Phone- I can't do anything without my phone so it would have to be on me at all times haha :D

Bag- I'd take a really nice bag as I'll need something to keep all my stuff in ;)

Water- I can imagine those shows can get quite humid

Notepad- For Autographs and notes ;D

And finally, of course the obvious question. What will you wear?:

Planning an outfit for LFW...oh dear. I'd go for really skinny dark jeans as their my favourite to wear for that...area? Since it would be an Autumn or A/W show I'd go wearing a knit jumper, chunky knit snood, Boots and either a leather jacket or pea coat with a big collar ;D I think a knit jumper with a casual blazer over the top with a snood would look good as well! I'd also have some silver wristwear (I've basically just described my current favourite Autumn look!).

Thank you so much for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed it! I'm going to do the same as Cookies and Couture and Tolly Dolly Posh did and tag EVERYONE! Please have a read of Tolly's original post HERE as it's superb!

OOTD | Wicked

Last Saturday I had the most amazing time watching the musical Wicked :D I already wrote a post about it here so please take a look :) Before I left, I took some OOTD photos but because of a change in the weather, I ended up changing outfits just before I left. Here's the first outfit :)

Barney's Original Leather Look Jacket | Primark Anchor Jumper | Ark Burgundy Snood | Topman Nautical Bracelet | Miansai Anchor Bracelet | Burton Super Skinny Jeans | Blackmans Boots | John Lewis Sunglasses's | Cambridge Satchel Company 15" Batchel |

Again, apologies for the weird photo :L I can't seem to take very good OOTD photos :( Any advice? I was actually really pleased with this outfit :D I thought it was perfect for Autumn! Although as I said, the weather changed and I became way too hot in that outfit. So here's my second outfit that I actually wore to Wicked :)

I'm terrible at these photos haha :D Please excuse my odd facial expression (I look really small in this photo?)

Frederik Anderson Copenhagen Cardigan | Burberry T-Shirt | Etsy Snood | John Lewis Sunglasses's | Burton Super Skinny Jeans | H&M Shoes | Topman Nautical Bracelet | Miansai Anchor Bracelet | Cambridge Satchel Company 15" Batchel |

I hope you've enjoyed this post! I know it's brief but I have so much revision to do at the moment I barely have time to even think of post ideas :( If you have any suggestions for posts, feedback or anything at all, please leave me a comment below as I love hearing from readers and always reply!

Thanks for reading :)
